Stress, Health and Human Potential

Transcendental Meditation (TM) is a simple, natural mental technique practised for 20 minutes twice daily while sitting comfortably with the eyes closed.

Unlike concentration or contemplation, TM allows the mind to settle inward effortlessly, producing a state of deep rest while maintaining inner wakefulness. Over the past five decades, researchers have investigated the effects of TM on a wide range of health outcomes.
